Why is there an audio and video lag on
Zoom, even though it looks fine on the
original video?
Information travels across the internet in
"packets" that get uploaded from the
host's computer out to the public
internet, Zooms across to your router
and finally to your computer.

*have solid internet access
1)ask other people in house not to use
internet at the same time
2) run to see what
your internet speed is, because it might
not fast enough
   a) upgrade your internet with your
cable provider
   b) plug your device directly into your
internet connection (i.e. don't use wifi)
*turn off your video during the broadcast
because it will degrade the quality of the
video stream
*try not to use the "chat" during the

Due to the rising number of COVID cases in Genessee County, the TUPC Session met
Monday evening and voted to postpone in-person worship and go fully online for worship
from November 22-January 10. This was a difficult and prayerful decision that we feel is in
the best interest of the health of our congregation.  

The spiritual health of our congregation is very important and we have been brainstorming
ideas on how to put the worship services back online. We also understand not everyone
can connect online. The Worship and Christian Education Teams are putting together
special bags to be delivered to each household with an Advent devotional, that will go along
with the sermon series "What Can't Wait--hope, peace, joy, love," and other items to help
you create a worshipful space at home. We hope these will be a blessing to you and your
